Description brotakul 2020-01-26 19:57:41 UTC
SUMMARY
Any junk mail that is filtered and sent directly to Trash folder is still counted as unread mail in the Inbox folder. Only after viewing those emails from trash or emptying the Trash folder, the unread email count is shown correctly.
The "Act on new/unread mail in this folder" option for the Trash folder is disabled (unticked), but still these mails count as unread in Inbox.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.
2.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
New/unread mail in Trash folder counts as new/unread mail in Inbox.

EXPECTED RESULT
Since the "Act on new/unread mail in this folder" option for the Trash folder is unticked/disabled, new/unread mail in Trash should not count as new/unread mail in Inbox.
