Created attachment 125380 [details] Visual evidence SUMMARY Moving plasmoids on the desktop can sometimes trigger a bug whereby the widget gets stuck in a dragged state even though it's been released. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Move the widget around some. OBSERVED RESULT When placed somewhere the widget remains stuck in the dragged state. I don't seem to be able to get the controls to spawn again and move it. If the widget is removed the hover effect remains on the desktop. EXPECTED RESULT Dragged state evens when the widget is positioned somewhere. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.66.0 Qt Version: 5.14.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Happens with stock themes as well. No plasmashell terminal output when it happens. Might be easier to reproduce if moving the item around a bit longer.
This code has changed a lot since the bug was reported; can you still reproduce it with Plasma 5.22 or later? I cannot.
