SUMMARY The Slideshow remote Pointer shows only on laptop screen, regardless the "main monitor" setting. This is especially annoying when presenting - usually the presentation is being displayed on secondary monitor, leaving main monitor for speaker's notes. It could be better for pointer to show by default on secondary monitor, or to have an option to choose the monitor. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open KDE Connect mobile application 2. open Slideshow remote 3. press POINTER button OBSERVED RESULT Pointer is displayed on main PC screen. Change of "primary monitor" in display settings does not change this behaviour. EXPECTED RESULT Pointer is displayed on secondary screen, or - the screen is selected prior to the use of pointer. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro KDE Plasma 18.1.5 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.66.0 Qt Version: 5.14.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I cannot replicate this on KDE Neon Unstable. I can move my mouse pointer to my second and third monitor as if I was using the mouse. Are you setting your external screen as a mirror of the laptop or as a secondary display?
