Screen recording.

SUMMARY

The taskbar looks fine if it's set to flexible.

However, once I activate the non-flexible version, items are pushed out and the pinned apps on the right are compressed. Please see the video.

The reason was a too big spacer. Is there any sane reason to allow a spacer, which possibly pushes items out of the screen? Shouldn't it be constrained?

What do you expect from a non-flexible spacer? To be unexpectedly flexible?

That's a valid argument. ;-)
I believe flexible is set per default?
Let me close this issue again as I think it can be considered resolved.
