Description xpert45689 2020-01-14 13:30:21 UTC
SUMMARY

Dolphin's file transfer dialog says the transfer is done, while in actuality it actually isn't.
I've been noticing for a few months now. I've seen it reporting completion of file transfer, while the graph in ksysguard of that drive's I/O, shows some I/O.
I just copied a folder in my flash drive, only to find out that not all the files were copied. I mean two(200 MiB+) videos were copied but were taking up 0 bytes!

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Thorough testing of this dialog.
2. Comparing it with a sensor in ksysguard.
3. Seeing if all files are copied. Preferably, giving users the options to see the integrity of the original and copied files.

OBSERVED RESULT

Incomplete file transfer.

EXPECTED RESULT

Actually complete file transfer.
