STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click settings
2. Click edit current profile
3. Go to appearance tab
4. Click on Get new...
5. Focus search text field 
6. Press any key on the keyboard

OBSERVED RESULT

Konsole crashes

Not to crash :P

Debian ships ancient software. You're using a version of Konsole that's almost two years old. Newer versions don't have this issue. :)
