Description D. Debnath 2020-01-11 19:04:53 UTC
I find the currently available feature to add shell commands as shortcuts to KDE Connect extremely useful.

I believe this excellent idea can be greatly extended by adding the ability to add ANY Global Shortcut (from System Settings) to KDE Connect. These shortcuts then can be pinned to the top/bottom of the Remote Input area.

For example, I frequently use the Present Windows and Desktop Grid shortcuts. So, when I'm using the Remote Input feature, it would be extremely convenient to be able to use my frequently used keyboard shortcuts by tapping a single button from the remote input area. Maybe this idea can be refined further, this is just a basic description of what I would like to see.

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with KDE Connect 25.12.2.
