Description Juraj 2020-01-09 16:55:29 UTC
SUMMARY
KDE Connect Settings dialog is missing application icon which is used in panel (taskbar) or window manager (alt+tab, or previews or some window lists....)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Run KDE Connect Settings outside of Plasma (I use OpenBox and tint2, maybe just different panel would do)
2. Start KDE Connect Settings $ /usr/bin/kdeconnect-settings

OBSERVED RESULT
KDE Connect Settings does not set KDE Connect icon as application icon for its window.
Which mean the default one is used (or blank...).

EXPECTED RESULT
KDE Connect Settings uses the KDE Connect icon or some nice KDE Connect Settings icon.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Artix Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.65.0
Qt Version: 5.14.0
Kernel Version: 4.19.88-1-lts
OS Type: 64-bit

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Thank you all for help.

Should be fixed with https://invent.kde.org/network/kdeconnect-kde/-/commit/a600c27490186c43ba5b193d0037a6dcd89e89ed

I haven't tested OpenBox in particular but it works with XFCE
