Description KOT040188 2020-01-08 20:09:47 UTC
SUMMARY

In the widget settings, the option to switch windows with the mouse wheel is turned on, but this does not happen if the cursor is pressed to the edge of the screen.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Drag the panel to the left side of the screen.
1. In the widget settings, enable the option to switch windows with the mouse wheel.
2. Move the cursor to the taskbar and to the edge of the screen.
3. Start spinning the mouse wheel.

OBSERVED RESULT

Windows do not switch.

EXPECTED RESULT

Windows should switch.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

KDENeon Plasma: 5.17.5

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This only happens when the panel is on the left side of the screen. Here's a video https://youtu.be/F4FSskmTY1s (when the cursor is pressed to the edge of the screen I spin the wheel too).

Can you confirm it works again if you run:

system settings -> screen edges -> switch on edge to disabled

I did not quite understand what option was in question. But you prompted me to some solution to the issue. I disabled the option "Stretch windows when moving to the right or left edge of the screen" and the bug disappeared. I turned on this option again, but the bug did not appear. I do not consider this a solution. This bug already appeared some time ago. Then he disappeared.
But he may appear again. It must be corrected.

Not saying it is, I'm just trying to identify what the cause of the bug is.

Thanks for the reply.

Panel is on the left edge; this is the default Screen Edge conflicting.

We really need to disable that thing or fix the bug.
