SUMMARY

I had some real struggle with this application in order to make it work and some of the issues that I could replicate every time are still there, so I'd like to report a few bugs (for Dock mode, not Panel).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Right click your Latte dock > Layouts > Configure...
2. Remove the "Locked" label from your (Default) layout (if applicable)
3. Apply/Save
4. Right click your Latte dock > Dock settings...
5. Change the Show/Hide delay to 100ms and Visibility to "Dodge All Windows"
6. Close
7. Right click your Latte dock > Layouts > Configure...
8. Apply the "Locked" label on your (Default) layout.

OBSERVED RESULT
Observe the semitransparent layer behind the dock (with "Maximum length" arrow on it) - it's still there. See my screenshot here: https://i.imgur.com/8f2Xqbf.png

If you right click again the dock > Dock settings... > the Show/Hide Delay and Visibility are still on their default values (unchanged from the previous settings), even you've just changed it to 100ms and "Dodge All Windows".

EXPECTED RESULT
I guess the semitransparent layer behind the dock should be hidden the moment I close the Dock settings, no? If not, how to hide that layer? Pressing ESC doesn't seem to help.

Show/Hide Delay (and other settings you've made) should be respected upon closing the settings window.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: 4.19.91-1-MANJARO
KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.65.0
Qt Version: 5.14.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Running 'rm -rf ~/.cache/lattedock/qmlcache/*' doesn't seem to help either.

I've also noticed if I run Steam in one virtual desktop, then after a few seconds I go to another virtual desktop, the background color of my dock items is not transparent anymore and the entire look and feels seems messed up by running Steam and similar apps. Could it be avoided somehow?
