Description Ralph Scharpf 2020-01-06 10:16:06 UTC
In the newly created identity the wizard missed to add the email address given. This is really nasty as the email works out of the box (which is good) but at the moment you try to send a email, a server error happens where non IT experienced users will not understand what really went wrong. I fear most un-experienced users will not be able to solve this.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Start with a fresh user (empty home)
2. Run Kontact/Kmai and provide inputs to wizard to let it do your accound/ID setup
3. Try to send an email

OBSERVED RESULT

An identity is created without an email address which inhibits sending via smtp

EXPECTED RESULT

The given Email address should be added to the identity. There should be no possibility to create an identity without an valid email address.
