STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. launch kget
2.

OBSERVED RESULT

no GUI
in ksysguard we see 2 processes : kget and file.so
in konsole we get this

I deleted all setting files about kget
At the first launch i got kget GUI.
For next kget launches i got no more GUI

This not a bug. After launch kget is in the system tray
