Screenshot of Krita not responding

SUMMARY
I was drawing on Krita, a google tab open for music of another video for noise, and a few hours in Krita crashes. On average my file sizes are less than 2000x2000. I was painting a single character from sketch to near completion when the crash happened, so my drawing wasn't anything strenuous. It's done this before, but no other open applications are affected.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Single instance of Krita open, single instance of Google open.
2. Maybe 3-4 hours into the drawing.

OBSERVED RESULT
Krita suddenly slows then soon stops responding. My cursor turns into a blue loading circle. No other apps stop responding or are otherwise affected.

EXPECTED RESULT

You're using an older version of Krita.

* Please start with updating Krita to a newer version: we're currently at 4.2.8. (Note that there's a big, bad bug with the transform tool in that version which we're trying to solve right now.)

* You can try to reset Krita: see https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration

* If Krita hangs again, please try to get a crash log. See https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/dr_minw_debugger.html#dr-minw
