Description Eric Mesa 2019-12-30 23:55:12 UTC
SUMMARY
Previous behavior: if I open Dolphin (either from taskbar or from folderview plasmoid) in an activity, it opens a new window in that activity.

Current behavior: switches me to whatever activity already has Dolphin open and opens it there. (Basically, the same way that KDE/Plasma handles opening a web browser link)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have dolphin open in activity 1
2. Open dolphin via taskbar or folderview in activity 2
3. The screen is switched to activity 1 and the folder is opened there.

OBSERVED RESULT
Switches me to an activity that already has Dolphin open

EXPECTED RESULT
Should, at the least, search for another Dolphin window in the same activity. But, probably, if it's on another workspace (virtual desktop), the user wants a new copy of Dolphin opened. I'd prefer the latter, but be happy with the former.

Workaround is to disable the feature for now. :(
