(Sorry if this is not the correct place to report this bug) The LibreOffice KDE5 file picker (which started, I believe, in version 6.2) does not allow me to enter directories with certain characters in their name, such as "á", "è", "ñ", "ö", etc. This is specially problematic if you often work in a non-English language, like me (Spanish). The error dialog says "The specified folder does not exist or was not readable". It only happens in LibreOffice, I haven't found this bug in the regular file picker used by any KDE application. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a folder named "Investigación" or "Señales". 2. Go to LibreOffice (6.2 or newer) -> Click on either "Open File" or "Save File". 3. Navigate to the previously created folder in the File Picker, and try to enter it. OBSERVED RESULT You get an error dialog saying "The specified folder does not exist or was not readable". EXPECTED RESULT Enter the folder, like any KDE application's File Picker is capable of. > It only happens in LibreOffice, I haven't found this bug in the regular file picker used by any KDE application. Can confirm, and it seems like a LibreOffice issue, then. Please report this to them at https://bugs.documentfoundation.org and then add a link to the bug report you file to the URL field of this bug report. Thanks!
