Created attachment 124724 [details] Typical movie: MP4 files got from GOPRO6 + MP3 audio. 5994 fps, 2704x1520 SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add mp3 audio to the project bin 2. Place this audio in empty audiotrack 3. Render movie as "mp4 (the dominating format...)" and set quality to maximum 4. Start and finalize rendering OBSERVED RESULT During watching the rendered movie you can observe multiple unexpected silent gaps in audio. EXPECTED RESULT Audio track should be heard without gaps. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 PRO MLT: 19.12.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.64.0 Qt Version: 5.13.2 (built against 5.13.2) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I have interchanged multiple MP3 file without better result. I have i7 Intel proc with 8 MB of RAM (DELL Inspiron notebook)
Please untick "Parallel Processing" in the render dialog and try again.
Also some fine audio delays problems have been solved in MLT last year, so please test again with recent release. If still so, please reproduce with minimal size clips and share the media here...
