If I have amarok launched, whenever I make a skype call and end it, amarok will start playing the beginning of its playlist automatically. Steps to reproduce: * Launch amarok with some playlist from previous session already in there, don't do anything inside it. Keep the window hidden (so that it's only in the taskbar). * Launch skype. * Make a videocall in skype. * End the videocall. Expected behavior: amarok should not do anything. Actual behavior: amarok starts playing the beginning of its playlist right after the skype call is ended.
Change the settings, this is not a bug. If you pause Amarok due to an incoming call, and it resumes after the call is ended, this is something you can change in the settings.

Remove the option "resume play on start".
Created attachment 124736 [details] amarok_settings It's already checked off.
and you were not running Amarok before that? that is weird... but I suspect a problem with Phonon rather than Amarok, as Amarok itself doesn't play anthing.
What was left of Skype was discontinued in May 2025, so it is time to close this one, too.
