Description Kanonenfuta 2019-12-25 22:16:14 UTC
SUMMARY
(First : i hope this is the right section i'm not really sure)

After switching to Kubuntu 19.10 i have the issue that when, most of the time, something get changed in the display configuration the default and used audio device changes from anything to the HDMI 2 output. I have my monitors connected threw display port and DVI. I tried disabling the HDMI output completely in the system options but it get turned on again everytime. This hhappens even if i only switch the refreshrate of one monitor.

I have two monitors connected, one with Display Port that runs on 1440p and 144hz and one with DVI that runs on 1600 x 900 and 60hz. I have a NVidia GTX 1070ti with the proprietary nvidia drivers, version 440.44

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Change the some display setting like refresh rate or resolution or turn one monitor of threw software

OBSERVED RESULT

Default and currently used sound device changes to HDMI 2, even when it's disabled

EXPECTED RESULT

Sound should not be affected

Pretty sure that's pulseaudio changing on connect module. In plasma-pa we generally do not switch devices without user input.
