Hello,

Would you consider allowing users importing images/videos from a local or remote folder?

I do enjoy Auto-Creation of Albums on import but the module only works for USB/SD drives or cameras connected with a USB cable. However it does not work for phones/tables since most of the time users sync pictures to a NAS/PC using Syncthing, Onedrive, Google Drive or something of the sort.

This function already exists : Import/Add Images... It's work for local or remote storage previously mounted.

Oh, I see. The "Import" button which is on the tool bar by default is greyed out if there is no external storage present and that confused me. I did not realize that "Import" menu is still active.

Also, maybe renaming "add files" and "add folders" to "import files" and "import folder(s)" should be considered?

Just an idea.
