Could be Bug 385942. Can you find the .desktop file for Discord in /usr/share/spplications and tell me what the file's name is?
It's just "discord.desktop", so I don't think it's that.
... But only when Discord is pinned? Not under any other circumstance?
Yeah. Only with Discord.
That's really very weird. I don't see it myself with Discord pinned, FWIW.
It doesn't seem to be happening anymore. But let me give it a while just to make sure.
OK cool, just let me know. :)
Ok. I've played around with it and it seems to have been fixed. Thanks for the help (:
Phew!
I have just started to experience this myself, with Element (re-branded Riot) from FlatHub. Having it pinned makes other apps jump around whenever anything is re-arranged. Un-pinning it makes this behavior stop. Do you remember if you had installed Discord from FlatHub, or was it a distro package?
It was a distro package Jul 18, 2020, 12:09 PM by bugzilla_noreply@kde.org: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=415466 > > Nate Graham <nate@kde.org> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED > Ever confirmed|0 |1 > Resolution|FIXED |--- > > --- Comment #10 from Nate Graham <nate@kde.org> --- > I have just started to experience this myself, with Element (re-branded Riot) > from FlatHub. This bug hasn't been seen by anyone in a long time; assuming it's been fixed now. There have been a lot of code changes that could explain it.
