SUMMARY With Elisa 19.12 it is not possible to drag tracks from the album, the interpret, the individual songs or the genre lists to the play list like it has been possible in Amarok. Same goes for the file browser and the radio station list. To place an item into the play list the user instead has to click on the "+" button. If the user likes to place the item in a specific location of the playlist other than the end of it, the user has to drag and drop the item them. That are two actions instead of one. Also the plus sign is much smaller than the item in the play list and thus more difficult to hit with the mouse. I understand that this may be something that has been done this way for touch interfaces. However for a traditional desktop interface with a mouse or trackball / trackpoint this is quite cumbersome. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have a playlist with several items. 2. Open an album for example. 3. Try to place one song from the album in the middle of the existing playlist. OBSERVED RESULT You first need to add the little "+" button and then still have to drag the item to the play list. EXPECTED RESULT You can just drag the item to the desired location into the play list. At least on traditional desktop interfaces. Thanks for your report. Indeed, we want to add support for that.
