Description A T Somers 2002-04-23 10:26:12 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: knode
Version: 0.7.1 (using KDE 3.0.0 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.2.92
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.2 2.96-109)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.7-10
OS/Compiler notes:

When posting an article to the newsserver I can't continue reading other articles. That is sometimes slightly irritating. Would it be possible to have the posting and/or retreiving of articles run in seperate threads so they don't interfere with one another or with the main application?

The problem is still there in 0.7.2 (KDE 3.1)
Comment 2 A T Somers 2004-08-30 13:52:21 UTC
Still a problem in 3.3.0. Now even more so, as posting now not only blocks KNode itself, but potentially all of Kontact.
Comment 3 A T Somers 2006-10-28 19:37:52 UTC
Still valid in 3.3.5. Please set to confirmed.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
