Hardware -> Audio -> Advanced: There's the user avatar placed in conjunction with the speakers position. This avatar is blurry on a HiDPI screen. Please see the screenshot.

It might be blurry because the source image is small. What are the dimensions of the file at ~/.face?

GIMP says 246x246 px. It's an standard icon which comes with the Plasma packages.

I guess, because the image is very small, that it's fine now.
