Created attachment 124360 [details] Figure 0 SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a horizonal dock and add a few plasmoids like volume control and menu. Set the padding as indicated in the screenshot. (Figure 0) 2. Log out and log out. 3. Observe the size of these widgets - they disregard the padding and extend to full height of panel. (figure 1) 4. Right-click configure panel. 5. Exit the panel configuration dialog. 6. Observe the side of the widgets - they now have proper padding. (Figure 2) OBSERVED RESULT Widgets should always have the same padding, like observed in step 6. Send me you latte layout file in order to check out. You should know that thickness margins are applet responsibility, Latte provides full thickness to all applets except if it can workaround things.
