Bottom window was 7 lines, now 3 and cannot be resized up

SUMMARY
History / Options / Clear window opens with 7 lines, but this reduces until it disappears entirely


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Ekos and start capture
2. Bottom window cannot now be resized larger, only smaller
3. Bottom window gets too small and cannot be resized up

OBSERVED RESULT I have recently added a Pegasus DMFC to my remote Pi running Ubuntu Mate.
I have newly converted a Mac Mini to Ubuntu Mate desktop 18.04 running 

I was running a KStars 3.3.4 on a mac High Sierra
