Depending of how HSV dialog is opened (from menu or via shortcut) Outline Selection Tool behave differently. Good behavior: 1. file new 2. select area with select outline tool 3. invoke hue/saturation/lightness dialog from menu and click on cancel/OK in it 4. select another area with same tool (it deselects first area and make second selection on mouse release) Bug: 1. file new 2. select area with select outline tool 3. invoke hue/saturation/lightness dialog with shortcut ctrl+u (not from menu) and click on cancel/OK in it (don't close with ESC) 4. select another area with same tool (won't finish selection on mouse release like in first example. Have to hit Enter to continue) Additional thought When selection tool is set to replace previous selection, it would be nice to immediately hide old selection. Selections can be quite complex and ones which are to be replaced are distracting while drawing new one. No need for this unless adding, subtracting or intersecting.
