This problem is minimum 3 years old

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. permanent bug
2.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
-Situation 1 :
With Firefox : if I want to save an opened page and do "save as xxx" on the desktop, i will find two files on the desktop : one is a html file and the other a folder containing files as .css, .js , pictures etc

-Situation 2 :
With Xsane : if I scan a 3 pages doc and say to xsane to save it as a multipages pdf name xxx on the desktop I will find on the desktop the xxx.pdf file correct and a folder containing the 3 pictures of the 3 scanned pages

Notice that you must erase each folder/file

EXPECTED RESULT

Only one file in those two cases.

Please report to Firefox or Xsane developers. But I doubt you can save a webpage including all assets (images, scripts etc.) to a single file.
