SUMMARY
Unclear how to remove an app from Favorites.

Starting with around Plasma 5.16.x, there is no menu item "Remove from Favorites" in context menu of the Favorites tab anymore. This makes removing an application from favorites not straightforward.

Now, in order to remove an app from Favorites, you have to open the submenu "Show in Favorites" and uncheck "in all activities". In my opinion this approach is complicated, non-intuitive and hard to discover.

Please add a shortcut item "Remove from Favorites" into the root of the context menu.

Works for me with a single activity. What you describe is only present when using more than one activity. But yes, the UI here is pretty confusing.

Played with this a bit and couldn't really find a better UI, unfortunately.
