Video demonstrating the issue.

SUMMARY

When the sidebar becomes resized, there's a gray vertical rectangle in the left part of the image.
Also the image becomes distorted, i.e. it does not build it up fast again to
keep the pace of resizing the sidebar.
Additional the buttons below don't reposition smooth.

Please compare it with the video.

Can anyone please try to reproduce it? It renders Gwenview completely unuseable to me for PNGs. :-(

I don't have this issue with JPEGs or RAW (CR2) files.

Uh, I commented on the wrong bug. Sorry about that! However, I can still reproduce it.
Comment 3 postix 2021-06-16 18:13:23 UTC
It still does not resize smoothly but anyway, this particular bug I cannot reproduce it any longer.
