SUMMARY

Subversion commandline client can not retrieve credentials from kwallet anymore.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. cd into a subversion working copy
2. enter: svn up

OBSERVED RESULT
Error message 
Subversion(12194)/kdeui (Wallet): Couldn't start kwalletd:  "KLauncher could not be reached via D-Bus. Error when calling start_service_by_desktop_path:
The name org.kde.klauncher was not provided by any .service files
"
svn prompts for the password and suggests to store it in plain text

EXPECTED RESULT
successful update of working copy

Is no one else experiencing this? Or nobody uses svn anymore?

might be the same reason that was discussed (and fixed) here:

looks base subversion packages are still built against KDE4 even on KDE5 system. 

I would be happy about a fix, as well.

Yes, might be related. In my case it complains about missing org.kde.klauncher though. But at the same time org.kde.klauncher5 exists.

That is exactly what I understand the problem is. If the base package had been compiled using KDE5 support it would be searching for the existing org.kde.klauncher5 and related rather the ones without the 5.
