Error when calling start_service_by_desktop_path: The name org.kde.klauncher was not provided by any .service files " svn prompts for the password and suggests to store it in plain text EXPECTED RESULT successful update of working copy SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE neon 5.17 User Edition (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.64.0 Qt Version: 5.13.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION svn, Version 1.9.7 (r1800392)
Is no one else experiencing this? Or nobody uses svn anymore?
might be the same reason that was discussed (and fixed) here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1768693 looks base subversion packages are still built against KDE4 even on KDE5 system. I would be happy about a fix, as well.
Yes, might be related. In my case it complains about missing org.kde.klauncher though. But at the same time org.kde.klauncher5 exists.

That is exactly what I understand the problem is. If the base package had been compiled using KDE5 support it would be searching for the existing org.kde.klauncher5 and related rather the ones without the 5.
