Google calendar indicates a difference between all day events and events that take place at a specific time by color in the all day events as KOrganizer does by default to all events, and using a colored circle next to the event name for those that take place at a specific time. I find this very useful information in distinguishing these two different kinds of events and it would be nice if it were implemented in KOrganizer's month view.

agreed.  I do like how google calendar shows the allday in color box but for the non-allday put the color-dot adjacent.  much easier to read.

I'll CC Carl on this. maybe he wants to take a look.
