Can you reproduce the issue with Plasma 5.17? KScreen was substantially refactored for that release, and Plasma 5.15 is not an LTS release so there will be no further bugfixes for it.
Comment 2 Antonin Roussel 2019-11-21 13:47:37 UTC
I cannot right now, I'm stuck in finishing booting mageia development version.
Comment 3 David Geiger 2019-11-21 15:29:59 UTC
I'm one of the Mageia kde team packager, so which is today the LTS release for plasma and for Kf5? because such as update in a stable distro is not simply to do and to test to make sure we don't break user's system.

David

Plasma 5.12 is the latest LTS. This is pretty old, I understand. The next Plasma version (5.18) is also going to be an LTS version.

There are no Frameworks LTS versions. IMO the best approach there is to provide new Frameworks versions to your users as they are released. The bug fixes are much more frequent than the breakages.
