Many times it would be useful to be able to zoom in/out an image very smoothly like you can a pdf in okular by pressing and holding the middle button then move the mouse forward and backward. Wouldn't this be so much better in gwenview? Right now a middle click just resets the zoom and you can only zoom in big increments which isn't ideal.

And if we are here, why not have this everywhere where zoom is an option? Now, I understand middle click might be used for something else, but is not the button I am asking for, is the very small steps of the zoom making it easy to achieve just the right zoom level. So CTRL+Scroll as always but smaller steps.
