SUMMARY

In the ASTAP menu the options "search radius" and "Downsample" are optional. I would  suggest to make them mandatory. This becuase the GUI remembers the last setting. See red marks. Remove the check marks.

With 3.5.0 and the new menu this problem is obsolete and can be closed.
