Looked like Kwin was not being started. Some other windows started to popup like Kwallet manager, but nothing else was loaded. Had to restart the machine to get in. - Unusual behavior I noticed: During the login session i got asked twice. The first time the loading started and then it crashed going back to the login screen. The second time i entered the password and the behavior above occurred.
