Can you reproduce the dysfunction using digiKAm 7.0.0-beta1 ? https://download.kde.org/unstable/digikam/ Gilles Caulier
Hi there, Can I install this Beta in parallel with my normal version? No, you cannot with the standard Windows installer. 7.0.0-beta1 will detect previous version installed and will uninstall it (it will ask before)... To do it, you must use the Windows archive which contain the whole binaries (normally installed on the system). Uncompress the archive with 7zip on your home directory. It will create a directory where you will found digikam.exe to run. Windows archive will be found at the same place than Windows installer. Gilles Caulier
Hi Gilles, when opening digiklam and placing the app-window somewhere on the screen, closing the app and restarting, the app again starts with iots main window in the lower right quadrant of the screen. So it still does not remember the previous window position and size. When opening the app and switching the app-window to fullscreen, then closing the app and restarting, the app starts in fullscreen mode. So in this case it works and it remembers the previous setting (fullscreen). Hope this helps.
