Description John S. 2019-11-06 04:39:03 UTC
SUMMARY
Creating a custom plot and selecting "Stack the beams on top of each other" in the plot properties causes the vertical scale to be set too high while the ksysguard window is open. Closing and reopening the window resets the scale correctly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a custom plot, e.g. CPU temperatures
2. Select more than one sensor
3. Right click on the plot and select "Stack the beams on top of each other" in the plot properties
4. Click Apply
5. Deselect "Stack the beams on top of each other" and click apply

OBSERVED RESULT
Vertical axis scale adjusts to stack beams, but doesn't adjust when this operation is undone

EXPECTED RESULT
Vertical axis scale should adjust when this option is deselected

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 31
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.61.0
Qt Version: 5.12.5

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 Christoph Cullmann 2024-09-23 21:00:06 UTC
ksysguard is no longer maintained, in Plasma 6 there is the Plasma system monitor for this task.

If your issue still happens with the Plasma 6 replacement, please re-open and we can move this bug to the new product, thanks!
