Description MarcP 2019-11-05 14:23:12 UTC
SUMMARY
I accidentally ran out of space in the partition where Digikam's database is stored. I didn't realize at first, but at some point I noticed that new tags were not written to the pictures/database. I don't know if internally Digikam knows that, but I thought what it would be informative if it could show a warning (e.g. "Changes could not be saved due to not enough free disk space").

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start digikam.
2. Make sure the partition where the database is stored is completely full.
3. Try to add (or modify) a tag in a picture

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens. The tag is not added. And I pressume is not saved to the picture either.

EXPECTED RESULT
A warning saying that changes could not be applied.
