Created attachment 123639 [details] patch Gwenview is a great simple tool, especially when it comes to read comics. But the bird view, which is the nested squares that spawn when zooming to show the region of the image actually displayed, is displayed on top of the image when you zoom in, which is not really comfortable when reading. I provided a link to a patch that adds the option to disable the bird view. It adds a config menu entry and set the bird view visibility accordingly.
