SUMMARY
Folder view widget on the panel shows irrelevant items when set to show today's added / modified files. Seems its initial population was correct but does not refresh on time.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add a folder view widget plasmoid to a panel.
2. Set it to show 'today'
3. Update target file system content and check folder view changes. 

OBSERVED RESULT
Folder view shows outdated data.

EXPECTED RESULT
Folder view should show any changes made to the target file system instantly.

Please try again with the new "Recent Files" and "Recent Documents" items added in Dolphin 19.12, once it's released. These should be working much better. Re-open if it's not fixed with those. Thanks!

This issue persists if I set Folder View widget to show "Recent files".
It only updates the files list after manual refresh.
I added my widget to dekstop.

Dolphin's timeline:/today/ shows contents of home directory as usual instead of files saved today. Yesterdays' recently saved filter seems to work correctly.

I was able to identify the error systematically:
My working directory is in the "Schreibtisch" directory, but Plasma uses a directory called "Desktop", which is a symbolic link to "Schreibtisch". If I let Plasma point to "Desktop", it does not update, but with "Schreibtisch" it works immediately.
