Hi,

Error; System Settings -> Display and Monitoring -> Composer -> Keep window thumbnails; It is repeated when "Always" is selected.

Keep the thumbnails of the window; If "For Only Shown Windows" and "Never" are selected, it behaves as it should and the video pauses when the VLC Player window is minimized.

This is most likely an issue in VLC itself, not Plasma. Furthermore, Neon ships an old version of VLC in its repos, so it is possible that the issue has been resolved in newer versions of VLC. I would recommend checking again with the Snap or Flatpak version of VLC, which will be up to date. If you still encounter the problem with one of those, please report the issue upstream to VLC. Thanks!
