SUMMARY In Konqueror (the best file manager in the world (R.I.P) there was a bookmark tree in the menu. In Dolphin there is nothing alike. The "places" pane is only an extreme primitive replacement - no hierarchy / folders of bookmarks; bulky and place consuming; not searchable. The user experience (the default justification for all these changes) is far inferior to that in Konqueror. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Try to cr4eate a bookmark(tree) for your favorite folders 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT It's not possible. EXPECTED RESULT Having a usable bookmark system like in Konqueror. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.12 KDE Frameworks Version: 4.14 Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Then you should use Dolphin 19.04, which has the feature in question. :)
