I'm on current 1.6 branch.

$ bin/clazy-standalone --version
Release % bin/clazy-standalone --version
LLVM (http://llvm.org/):
  LLVM version 8.0.1
  Optimized build.
  Default target: x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
  Host CPU: skylake

--> no clazy version is printed.
