SUMMARY the tablet pen of my xp pen artist 12 is working fine, so it seems, but with it i can not use some of the brush tools in krita properly (they do work when i use my computer mouse), just a starting point of the brush works and i can not continue to draw a line with the tool then. So i suspect it has something to do with krita?? STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. try drawing on a drawing tablet with the basic brushing tools (for instance basic-5 size) also airbrush and eraser 2. 3. Hi Maryam, I don't have an xp-pen tablet to test with, but in general, on macOS, problems with tablets are driver problems. Tablets are handled by the OS and the driver, not by individual applications. That said, most tablet driver authors only test with Photoshop, and there are known bugs, like the one with Huion tablets on macOS, where really weird lines go everywhere, but those happened in Corel Painter as well, not just in Krita. Another problem on macOS happens if two tablet drivers are installed, that confuses the OS completely. You could try the following: check with the Krita tablet tester applet: see https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/preferences/tablet_settings.html . If that works without problems, we might be able to deduce something from a tablet log: * show the log viewer (https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/dockers/log_viewer.html) * enable logging (left-most button) * enable tablet logging (right-most button, select tablet logging) * create an image * press ctrl-shift-t to enable tablet logging * make a stroke * copy the contents of the log viewer in a text file and attach to this bug report.
