There is no way to change window Aurorea title bar background color (same for all windows) : i go to setting - colors - select the active there and click the button to modify it (i've done this for a bit of other colors already and all worked fine) but no way to change that damn title bar color! It should be: common color - active title bar but even if the color i've selected is saved it doesn't apply! STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. go to setting - colors - select the active color scheme there 2. click the button to modify it & go to common color - active title bar 3. select new color, close and reapply the color scheme OBSERVED RESULT selected color is saved but doesn't take effect (same happens for titlebar text color) EXPECTED RESULT Displayed color should reflect what selected and saved SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.62.0 Qt Version: 5.13.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Found same problem in bug report of 2 years ago - N°365994
Aurorae is only the engine, not an actual decoration. Some decorations (such as Plastik) respect the color scheme, most others do not. If you can reproduce the issue with the Plastik decoration, please add a comment.
Sorry for incorrect information. I'm facing the problem with Sweet KDE theme, active window decoration is the dark-transparent version and the color scheme i'm using is a modified Magnesium style: editing it changes almost everything (at least everything i've tried to modify) but the titlebar. I've found the decoration files under .local/share/aurorae/themes/ but not scraping through them to see if i can manipulate the color here. Hope this helps more.
