Coming from https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=412660 It would be nice if in the Properties Dialog, the target path of a symlink ("Points to:") would be easily accessible. E.g. - either by making the label clickable, see screenshot https://bugsfiles.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=123050 - or by adding a "Show target" button
Great idea!
Actually making a clickable link would be a regression since that would remove your ability to edit the destination location. But I can add a button that will take you to the link's location.
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #2) > Actually making a clickable link would be a regression since that would > remove your ability to edit the destination location. But I can add a button > that will take you to the link's location. I actually meant the label (which is on the left side saying "Points to:"). Maybe this is a bit unconventional. :-)

Git commit 4d8aa4be386e0a0f237ca0c82a4fbcb82767e293 by Nate Graham. Committed on 21/11/2019 at 16:06. Pushed by ngraham into branch 'master'. [KPropertiesDialog] provide a way of showing the target of a symlink Summary: FIXED-IN: 5.65 Undecided on the button. Should it be text-only displaying "Show" instead of an icon? Or text-and-icon? Is there a better icon we could use or is this one good enough?
