Description postix 2019-10-15 16:21:22 UTC

If a file is searched or filtered (CTRL+F) it is possible to rename it (F2).
Once it got renamed, it is no longer possible to rename it again until the search view is exited or a new filter string is applied.

I've just tested on dolphin 20.08.3 and I cannot reproduce this issue.

Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I'm setting status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved" when you respond, thanks.

Just to make sure, we don't mean the same in the end: How do you search? and how would you filter?

to search, press ctrl+f and type the name of some file.
to filter, press ctrl+i and type the name of some file.

I can confirm, it does work for (ctrl+i) filtering but does not work for (ctrl+f) searching. I did not describe it correctly in the opening post.
