SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Both vignetting and rectangular defect are enhanced by kstars view compared to viewing in GIMP, Siril or fv5.5.
Vignetting is likely due to telescope.
However, full width rectangular area could be camera or kstars. Suspect kstars because images taken before and since with camera do not show defect in RAW or JPG files.

We've introduced an updated stretching algorithm in KStars. Can you try to test it from git or PPA?
Comment 2 Jasem Mutlaq 2022-10-10 06:22:09 UTC
Please check against KStars 3.6.1 and report back.

Hi,
I Last shot photos on 9/24/22. Was using kstars 3.6.1. Images display normally in kstars, but open as greyscale in GIMP. When I open them with Sirilk 1.03, they open as B&W (really greyscale). However, just checking the debayer box before opening leads to a full color image. Images then stack correctly.
