SUMMARY
Selecting text in the title of Notifications doesn't work.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Notifications either from icon if on taskbar or 'Notifications' from in Show More Icons icon.
2. Locate desired notification.
3. Try to highlight text title or entire title by placing pointer and holding left button down.

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing.

EXPECTED RESULT
Text under pointer gets highlighted and selected and a right click menu is available copy text to clipboard if desired.

oOnfirmed, but you can't highlight text in window titlebars either. What's the use case for this here?

To be honest, this was almost three years ago, I can't recall what the reason for this was.  Things have changed quite a bit since then, there may have been important info in the title that I thought should be able to be copied.

I looked into this, and unfortunately it turns out to be rather technically hairy and would increase the memory usage of notifications. I think we'll have to say no to the request at this time, sorry.

No problem.  Like I said, I really don't recall why I submitted this.  One thing did just come to mind, though.  Would it be possible to include the title bar text in the notification text itself?  It might be useful just in case there is some important info in there at some point.

Hmm, I think we would get complaints about the duplicated text if we did that.
