SUMMARY A folder wich contains %2f cannot be opened. Instead it will give an error message "does not exist" the %2f are exchanged with slashes. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a folder with %2f in its name 2. Try to open it in Elisa 3. Error message OBSERVED RESULT Does not exist error EXPECTED RESULT No error and the folder is opened SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Archlinux (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.62 Qt Version: 5.13 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Also having this folder in my music folder prevented Elisa automatically recognizing any files inside, while I resolved this by removing the subfolder, this seems to indicate that the error handling in case of a unopenable file is not very good.
Thanks for your report. I am unable to reproduce that problem with the current stable version v19.12.3 nor with the last beta version 20.3.80. I believe the problem has been fixed. Could you please test again and close the report if you are unable to reproduce the bug ? You can still reopen it later if needed.
